BACKGROUND and MISSION  The Eric Drew Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization  Our mission is to provide education and consulting for patients and families struggling with serious and terminal illnesses to assist them with; forming strategies to navigate complex medical systems, raising funds for specific patients and causes, and finding elusive treatments that are not being offered. By teaching patients how to advocate for themselves through free workshops, online seminars and consulting, we enable them and their loved ones to develop their own strategies for managing their care during a health crisis by providing information, tools and support.  By helping patients know their options, and if necessary how to negotiate with hospitals and insurance companies to get the treatments they need, we can save countless lives. FROM ERIC DREW   “When I was diagnosed with a terminal disease (ALL) and checked in to the hospital for emergency treatment, there was nobody there for me to call on to advocate for me or to assist me with finding or evaluating treatment possibilities.  The result was that I was sent home to die and had had to work hard to find the treatment that finally saved my life.  From this need for patient advocacy,  the Eric Drew Foundation was born.   Tens of thousands of people in the US and around the world (many of them children) are being sent home to die and are suffering from “treatable” diseases which include various blood cancers such as Leukemias, Lymphomas, and genetic disorders such as Sickle Cell Anemia.  Most are never given the option of the miracle treatments available using “non-controversial” sources of stem cells such as the double umbilical cord stem cell (UCSC) transplant that saved my life, and very few expecting parents are being educated on the value of cord blood banking.  There are now approximately 50 diseases that are proven to be treatable with UCSCs, and incredible new UCSC treatments for 8 out of the top 10 killers in the US (cardiac disease, diabetes etc.) are now in clinical trials in the US.  These incredible treatments for Diabetes, auto immune disorders, and regeneration of tissue, bone and nerves are currently being conducted in various countries around the world.  Many countries such as Japan have embraced UCSCs as a superior alternative source of stem cells than from bone marrow.   Largely because of the noise and controversy around embryonic stem cell research, these proven treatments using non-controversial sources of stem cells are largely being ignored and people are dying unnecessarily.  Recent statistics show that a vast majority of Americans incorrectly believe that all sources of stem cells are controversial and involve the killing of a human embryo or fetus.  There are 3 million births in the US every year, yet only 2-3% of these families are banking this extremely rich source of stem cells which may benefit the entire family.  It is urgent and imperative that we all take responsibility to raise awareness and get patients to the appropriate facilities for immediate treatment, and to make sure that expecting families know their options with regard to cord blood banking.  Please do your part by talking to people in your community, encouraging your local doctors to refer patients to these treatments, and encouraging expecting parents to bank the cord blood stem cells for the whole family when babies are born.  If you know anyone who suffers from a serious or terminal illness of any kind,  please contact us and we will do everything we can to help” Warmest Regards, Eric Drew The mission of the EDF is constantly evolving to keep up with the needs of patients the new emerging technologies being used to save lives.  Since Eric is one of the first adults to survive a double umbilical cord stem cell (UCSC) transplant, he has by default become an international advocate for UCSCs and the miracle treatments they offer.  Our mission has, in essence, followed this demand by patients and their families for these incredible life saving non-controversial stem cell treatments. The Eric Drew Foundation is a 501(c)3 non profit organization created in 2003 by volunteers from around the world to assist Eric with his fight against a “terminal” leukemia and to promote advocacy for seriously ill patients.  The outpouring of support from the surrounding community was tremendous as people contributed funds and volunteered their time to put on the San Francisco Bay Area’s largest bone marrow registration drive ever.  Over 1000 attended and over 760 people were tested and added to the NMDP (National Marrow Donor Program www.NMDP.org) database.  Many other smaller bone marrow drives were also sponsored. The Eric Drew Foundation is now focusing on several crucial projects (in order of priority): Creating a free live online seminar series to provide patient education on cord blood treatments and banking Free consulting to patients in urgent need Establishing an online Patient and Caregiver Resource Center on the EDF website Supporting legislative programs for cord blood stem cell research, establishment of the national chord blood stem cell bank, and continued government sponsored testing of donors for the National Marrow Donor Database.     Masters Matters The Newsletter For Integrated Energy Therapy®  Master-Instructors June 2008 This is our second quarterly issue of Masters Matters. We hope you enjoy this issue and we invite you to email us with your comments, achievements, and experiences to share.   The Transformational Shift - Part 2 Inter-dimensional Travel  A Message Channeled from Angel Ariel by Stevan Thayer on Tuesday June 10, 2008  As the energy of the transformational shift continues, and the polarities of love and fear increase, those who answer our call and are drawn by the ever increasing vibration of love will find themselves experiencing longer and longer periods of deep calm, peace, joy, and love, the likes of which they have never experienced before. ....  The process of this healing has two purposes.  First it will teach you that you are capable of inter-dimensional travel.  .… It will be as though you are able to shift between two parallel universes by stepping through a gateway of consciousness.  ..… Then, as you travel between dimensions, it will provide you with the direct experience of what it is like for you to live in the Dimension of Fear and what it is like for you to live in the Dimension of Love.  ….  Unfortunately, most people live most of their life in the Dimension of Fear, lost in the world of illusion created by past and future.  …. They rarely travel into the Dimension of Love. They are caught up in the business, and busyness, of the world.  …. My youngest client was a 1 day old boy who was in an incubator in the neonatal intensive care unit of a hospital.  .... His blood chemistry was not good and the doctors feared that he might need advanced medical procedures.  ..... The most amazing thing happened when I reached cellular memory 7 (the liver and gallbladder). I energized this cellular memory area and touched the liver and gall bladder integration point and was almost blown back against the wall by the anger that shot out of this newborn child. .... After releasing the anger, I completed the session (which had taken no more than 15 minutes) and left the hospital. .... Later that day the doctors must have been busy congratulating themselves on the incredible sudden clearing of the jaundice and the fact that the baby’s blood chemistry returned to normal. As children get older (especially when they are around 2 to 6 years old) I have found that sometimes they are shy and a bit intimidated by the idea of an IET practitioner placing their hands on them.  ... I have Mom put the child on her lap, and as I place my hands on Mom’s cellular memory areas, I have Mom place her hands on the same cellular memory areas on the child. ....  Not only does Mom receive an IET session, but the IET energy channels through Mom and into the child who also receives an IET session. For the complete article on Using IET with Babies and Small Children click here.   IET and Eckhart Tolle’s A New Earth By Maria Peterson This is a big year for consciousness changing and shifting.  Eckert Tolle’s new book, A New Earth, is making a big splash.  .... Well over 10 million people participated in the web event program that Oprah and Tolle offered.  ....  We are changing from letting past experiences mold our future, to letting our future flow from our essence, our soul.  We applaud Tolle for his work and highly recommend that you read his book or listen to his web event program. In A New Earth, Tolle talks extensively of the need to heal what he calls “the pain body”, so that we can shift our consciousness from “past and future” into the “now”. He says that an unhealed pain body can .... prevent us from awakening. What Tolle’s calls the pain body is what we in IET call cellular memory. .... Un-healed trauma suppressed in cellular memory is the pain body. .... Both Tolle and IET agree on the fact that we must heal the pain of our past and the fear of the future in order to claim our true purpose and our true power in the now. Tolle also states “The surrendered state of consciousness opens up the vertical dimension in your life, the dimension of depth.”  This is exactly what we are doing when we do a soul-star clearing.  We are assisting our clients and students in creating a highway to the inner depth of an energy center that most people don’t think, feel or know about.  ....  We are putting them in direct touch with their soul essence.  Well, you get the idea.  A New Earth is full of connections to the healing modality we call IET.  .... Invisible Roots: How Healing Past Life Trauma Can Liberate Your Present by Barbara Stone , PhD, LISW, DCEP of the USA: [ available in English via http://www.souldetective.net ] This book takes the reader into the mysteries underlying people's illness to find the root cause of emotional disorders and includes case examples of calling in angelic support to help clear past life trauma and earthbound spirit attachments.   IET Firsts  Two University Appearances in Dublin, Ireland: In April 2008, IET Master-Instructor Gillian Gavin of Ireland presented a 2 hour lecture on IET to 27 students at Trinity College in Dublin Ireland. The students especially loved the heartlink process and the concept of being able to clear and heal the “issues in your tissues”. The same month, Veronica, Irish Mystic taught 11 students of the Walmer College and Holistic Center The Healing Angels of the Energy Field class. Both classes were very well received. IET Taught In Brazil: Also in April 2008, IET Master-Instructor Sharon Yeskel of the USA taught Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced level IET classes in Curvelo in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Sharon, fluent in Portuguese, used English IET guidebooks and lectured in Portuguese. Two Classes in One! A New Unified Basic Level IET and Healing Angels Class Is Introduced: In May 2008, IET Trainer Stevan Thayer of the USA taught a two day class at the Omega Institute in NY which combined the complete agendas of both the Basic Level IET class and the Healing Angels of the Energy Field class in a new way. Students received both the Basic Level Guide and Healing Angels Class Workbook, but rather than presenting these classes sequentially as two one day classes, Stevan intermingled the agendas of the two classes thus creating one unified two day class. Click here to read the agenda.   The Blessing Bowl Process Really Works!  We introduced the IET Blessing Bowl Process in the March 08 issue of Masters Matters and we have been delighted at the positive response we have received. Masters around the world have been using the process with great success. Here are a few Blessing Bowl Experiences.   Leon Pellitier and Phoenix Rising Star (USA): Manifested way more than they asked for in the blessing bowl, including new students and clients, as well as a lucrative engagement to do aura photos on celebrities at a Super Bowl event. They also received wonderful publicity in a local magazine article and the opportunity to write articles for publication. Joni McLachlan (Canada): Held a blessing bowl party for a gathering of her IET students. The students wrote their manifestation wishes and put them in their blessing bowls. Joni then took the students’ blessing bowls into another room and privately attuned all the bowls then returned them to the students. The students are still calling to report the miracles that are manifesting in their lives. Anita Knight (Canada): Asked for 4 new clients and within a week received 4 new clients. Maria Kramer-Robinson (USA): Wrote “I absolutely love the process. Between the blessing bowl, and rubbing the Joy Stone many times during the day especially while driving or standing in lines at the store, I feel like I am walking around in a much higher vibration of love, joy and truth than ever before. Everything is flowing ever so smoothly in my life and I feel so much lighter. I have already manifested two items in my blessing bowl.” Isabel Glover (Canada): Created a separate Earth Angels Blessing Bowl and she puts the IET Earth Angels requests as well as individual requests into it. Annelies Hoornik (The Netherlands) suggested that IET students could do a less powerful version of the blessing bowl process in which they create a blessing bowl and put their manifestation wishes into it. Then, they bring a starburst of energy down (just like at the start of an IET session) and place the starburst into the bowl. It is sort of a baby step in the blessing bowl process and would create a feeling of empowerment for Basic, Intermediate and Advanced students. Please feel free to share this idea with your students.   Are You Feeling Alone in your IET MI Work?  Sometimes IET Master-Instructors find that they are the only Masters in their area (this is especially true of Masters who live in remote locations).  IET Master-Instructor Joni McLachlan of Newfoundland Canada emailed us saying that she was looking to connect with other MI's who like herself, live in an area where there are no other MI's even remotely close. She said “I feel that it would be great to connect with other MI's who are in the same boat as I am. Perhaps we could form a group and use Yahoo Chat to connect all of us distant MI's. There must be other MI's all over the world who are winging it alone, like me, and those are the ones I would like to connect with."   If you want to keep in the loop but find yourself situated apart from it all, then perhaps this is the answer. On-Line: You can submit your class list on-line via the For Instructors Only section of our website By Mail or Fax: You can fill out the IET Graduates Form that you receive with your manuals and mail (or fax) it to us at The Center of Being. We receive many hand written Graduate Forms that are either incomplete or impossible to read. If you use the Graduate Form then Please PRINT the information completely and clearly so that we can record your student’s class records correctly in our IET database.  Also, please have your students fill out a questionnaire and send it to The Center of Being after your class (does not apply to our IET for Kids class). If your students don’t feel comfortable giving you their questionnaire then they can mail their questionnaire directly to The Center of Being, Inc.
